I've been wanting to read Eragon, and since the new movie has come out, I thought I should read the book before I see it. Right now I am about half way through the book and-- I wanted to see it tonight but, now I'm probably not going to. Anyways It's about a boy, 15, named Eragon who finds a dragon egg, he befriends the dragon, and now he's automatically a dragon rider. He soon learns he can use magic, to a limit and now he must defeat an evil empire, ect., ect. I am enjoying it very much, and I think you should read it. My sister will probably do a movie review, if we see it.

I'm done with the second book in the trilogy, now and this is my second favorite book ever! (next to the second book in the series!) It's gotta be the best book in the whole wide world! lol just kidding. There's probably something better, I just haven't encountered it yet. And anyways, it's a matter of opinion. But my opinion is, that if you have not read "Eragon" yet go down to the library - no, make that a book store! right now, get it, sit down, and read it cover to cover. Actually, don't do that, because it's 497 pages long. But read it! By the way Terri the second book in the series is called Eldest, the whole series is Inheritance.

I've now read Eragon and Inheritance (second novel in the series). Both great books but I must say as an Anne McCaffrey reader I see alot of similarities. So if I might suggest if you like Eragon try the McCaffrey dragon novels.
